OUR STORY

Three Generations building a Family-Owned Business

Follow us on our journey into small holding and micro farming. Supporting our local communities needs. With an eco ethos to keep the carbon footprint small.

Support local, buy local

Honeycomb Farm

We had a dream to start a little small holding to support our families needs and wants. We then were asked if we could sell the odd set of eggs or a jar of honey, from the farm. So this has grown into a small business to encourage sustainability and increase the demand for local, free range/organic produce.

Since taking over the farm, we have made changes to some of the barns and how the land is used. From cow sheds, we now have goat barns. From wood stores, we have chicken and duck coops.

The allotment area is taken on a life of its own. A lot of hard work has gone into clearing the land from brambles to make it usable. A shout out to Grumps for his sterling hard work (during his retirement)

The orchard is now a feature on one field with bee hives dotted about to encourage a beautiful relationship between the plants and bees.

Moving forward we have plans to create a natural pond with an island for our ducks and encourage the local wildlife are in motion. We are looking into running courses that are designed to enrich your learning and support you in your new area of interest.

100% ORGANIC, FREE RANGE & GMO FREE

We do not want to use any additional chemicals as standard practice. We like our produce to be as un-tampered as possible. We believe it tastes better and have found there are natural remedies to protect our livestock and produce from the nasties.

Traditional methods of farm management, learning new skills to keep the old ones alive.
